The season of summer is the perfect time for a whole new set of anthem to set foot. These special songs set aside for the season are the Summer Songs. Of course most times the scenario is that no single summer theme reigns commonly across all the summer songs.
This is simply due to the increased fragmentation of the various genres of music such as pop. No more do the masses of audiences succumb to similar tastes, likes and dislikes.
Instead today the trend is such that a consumer has at his/her disposal a very large number of ever-increasing numbers of media. Ranging from traditional radio, or TV right up to the Internet, or the satellite radio, each of these is an incessant source of endless summer songs, which you can call your own and play incessantly until the neighbors come knocking to your door, screaming for a break.
And of course if you are overwhelmed by the wide range of options laid down in front of you, or are simply confused about where to start, then you might just want to consider the following summer songs, to choose one for your own personal favorite.
If you are looking for an infectious song, which will have a syncopated dance hall beat that will have you shaking akin to the Earthquake then your summer song is no doubt going to be the song " Hey Mama" by the Black Eyed Peas.
If you are a bright summer bird, and summer is your best time of the year, and you are one of those individuals who happen to wear shorts, Hawaiian shirts and flip-flops all the year-round, and also that in summer, an ice-cold can of beer doesn't end up freezing to your fingers and lips, and the maximum consumption of your fruit diet happens in the form of pina colada or margarita, then your summer song will no doubt be "When the Sun Goes Down" by the Kenny Chesney/Uncle Kracker duet.
