The director of the movie chose the lyrics and the tunes of the songs himself. For recording the songs of this film only a harmonium and a tabla were used. The singer was usually out of the camera range and the singer sang into a hidden microphone.
With the advent of the Talkie Films, the old Hindi songs gave way to the birth of a whole new song writing and music composing industry. The Crowds thronged in multitudes to hear the old hindi songs such as Balam Aaye Baso More Man Mein and Dukh ke Din Ab Beete Nahin.
